Despite the events from South City having faded away mostly from Opherla's mind since she got pumped up to start getting stronger again, there was one event that still lingered in her mind like a bad dream, and what was worse, sometimes played over and over in her head like a bad record...
The death of Callion. How Opherla watched as he almost broke through to that other Saiyan, but at the last moment, he betrayed them all and stabbed Callion through his chest... Opherla never forgot that day... but instead of it weighing her down, now, it motivated her.
Opherla had been trying to master a new technique for a while now, although it seemed like her progress with it wasn't going as steadily as she had previously hoped, it had been a full on week now since she began her training with it, and it was slightly agitating her.
"I just need to get this attack to stick, what gives!? Am I thinking about Callion too much!? ...That's gotta be it. I'm putting too much emphasis on him and not nearly enough on myself. I have to concentrate more on what I'm doing, not on the past..." Opherla sighed as she trained on the outskirts of West City, where there was no real risk of injuring anyone, as she began to try to formulate her move once again, as her nose picked up the smell of someone approaching... but Opherla needed to block it out and focus on this technique.

How long has it been since Callion last traversed across West City? The last time he was here, the Saiyan journeyed with his former teacher; Master Roshi. They were initially assigned to meet up with a fellow student and pure-blooded Saiyan by the name of Kombu… Of course, this was also the exceptionally poor timing that led to Callion’s demise, and everything else that came immediately afterwards, leading to what had happened only just recently. It honestly felt like such a long time ago, and yet ever since the occurrence of South City, Callion’s spirit had returned whole once more. The Saiyan himself had been traveling through the skies on his way to relive the memory of what had happened back at South City. As he soared through the air, a strange sensation overtook him. Memories that had long been forgotten began to resurface, causing him to lose focus and almost crash into a nearby mountain range. Shaken, Callion landed on a nearby cliff, taking a few moments to collect himself. As he did, the memories continued to flood back, overwhelming him with their intensity. He remembered the destruction of South City, the screams of innocent people, and the terrible power that had caused it all.
For a moment, Callion was lost in his memories, reliving the pain and horror of that day. But then, something snapped inside him. A fierce determination rose up, and he knew that he could not allow such evil to go unpunished. With renewed purpose, Kakarot took to the skies once more, flying faster than he ever had before. As he flew, he could feel his power growing, fuelled by the rage and sorrow he felt at the memory of the destroyed city. That is the moment he sense a familiar energy, something that made him smirk. The energy, it was rather close by within the general vicinity, that is the moment he realised just who is the person that was closeby.
“Aaaah. Opherla’s here. Time to say a little hello.”
Callion said with a toothy grin, he recalled the young female Beastfolk Saiyan hybrid, he remembered her bravery during the events that portrayed in South City, from saving and escorting the civilians out of there, to even getting in a few blows to Quash when he was still under the influence of Majin Liari, and he figured that it was high time to have a little chat with her once again, to see how well she is doing and whether she was getting stronger. Callion flew in the sky, deciding to explore West City as he searched for Opherla's energy signature. As he soared above the bustling city, Callion scanned the area with his heightened senses, searching for any trace of the young hybrid. He soon picked up on her energy, feeling it growing stronger as he got closer. He flew towards the source of the energy, finally spotting Opherla below.
She was in the midst of having quite a bad time, and from where he was watching the Beastfolk Saiyan hybrid, it appeared that she was arguing and talking to herself about what had happened back at South City. This also came to be in the case of her also trying to learn a new technique, but it seems the memory of what had happened back at this whole ordeal came from was messing with her training. From what he remembered just before he was about to knock on Death’s door, he heard a certain woman having fled the City during the ordeal when Callion managed to snap Quash out from being under Liari’s influence and only to stab him with a Ki blade to the torso.
Well, seeing her in such a state was simply not going to be allowed, not for THIS Saiyan, he couldn’t allow such a young girl full of aspiration and ambition to no doubt become a strong warrior in her own right feel bad and conflicted to the point where it messes up with her training. Callion landed a short distance away, and slowly decided to make his appearance known to Opherla, folding his arms in the process.
“Well now, you seem to be in quite a conundrum.”

Opherla was hard at work trying to get the attack to work. It was clear to Callion what the general idea of the attack was. Opherla would gather energy, unleash it in a barrage of ki blasts, yet as they all seemed to shoot off to the distance, some slowed down, only to drop and fizzle to the ground dejectingly as if the thought of the events of South City was weighing down on Opherla's progress, which only continued to make her frustrated all the more as she growled at the lack of being able to pull it off. She WANTED to make this attack stick, really, she did, but she wasn't properly sure how to go about it.
However, that would soon be a thing of the past the minute she felt a super strong presence behind her. She didn't see Callion, having not been focusing on finding the approaching energy, nor on who it actually was. The moment he spoke, it startled the young girl, and immediately her Saiyan fight instincts of her fight or flight kicked in immediately, as she turned around, not even realizing she was about to unleash this move full force on Callion himself.
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!" Opherla yelled in desperation, thinking it was someone evil coming to attack her, like maybe Liari had lived and was about to attack, or Quash coming to mock her for her cowardice. It evolved into a proper formation of what she had wanted to do for this attack, as she thrust her hands forward, together, and unleashing a shotgun blast of sorts, as her ki blasts were fired in bursts, not fully spreading out as they traveled at Callion in a massive salvo of energy. Some of them SLAMMED into his new, chiseled body intensely, as he felt a ton of energy behind the attacks thanks to how much energy Opherla was putting in behind them. While he was being pelted, other ki balls were beginning to formulate around him, making a danger area of sorts around him that threatened to collapse and implode on him at any moment from the looks of things.
Opherla would then, unable to see Callion still, now due to a massive dust cloud that she had kicked up, rushed at Callion with a head full of steam, as red ki formed around her claws, as she dashed THROUGH Callion, making a massive trail of ki follow behind her as she landed the cross slash full force on him, soon on the other side of him and well out of range of her own ki blasts, before she yelled and shot her hand backwards, causing the ki balls to rush into Callion and coalesce into a massive, glorious explosion of power, that showered Callion in painful ki energy, and soon left a massive dust cloud where he was standing moments ago!
Opherla panted the moment she had finished her attack. Gauging this person's power level, she had hoped at least, if nothing else, she had left enough of an impression that might cause this person to leave her alone and go somewhere else from the sheer force of the attack she had just given. She was currently full of elation at the moment as well, she had successfully landed the technique she had been working on since she left South City and the ruins it was in! She was absolutely ecstatic that she had finally pulled it off after so much time of trying to make it work! She was so happy she could have celebrated on the spot!
But again, there was the situation as it was right now, face to face with this mysterious foe that had a power level way above her own, and she had no room to celebrate or let her guard down for a moment. She would let the dust slowly fade away, keeping her gaze fully on the dust cloud to see just who decided to startle her like that and make her fear for her life with such a massive power level. However, as the dust slowly fell... Her eyes widened. Standing there, in the remains of that cloud of dust, looking rather well despite whatever damage she might have given him from her newly birthed technique...
Was none other than Callion.
How!? How was this possible! Opherla watched Callion get stabbed by Quash! She watched Callion die! She watched it all happen right in front of her very eyes! So then how!? How was Callion still alive!? More importantly... Why was he here!? What happened in South City? Was it all over? Did they win? Did they lose? Opherla didn't know, and she had so many questions...
And the man who probably had all the answers was right in front of her, here and now, very much alive and well.
And to a degree, it angered Opherla. Why did it take this long? Why did he wait THIS LONG to finally come to her and tell her it was all okay!? It had been a full WEEK or so since Opherla left South City for whatever fate was in store for that poor city with all those powers there!
Opherla needed a proper answer. And Callion was going to give it to her.
"Callion... what... the... hell..." Opherla spoke in a low tone, which was coated with anger and a slight bit of venom, before it suddenly become a lot louder. "WHAT THE HELL, CALLION!? YOU WERE ALIVE THIS WHOLE FUCKING TIME!? WHY SHOW UP NOW!?" Opherla yelled in pure anger and indignation that Callion took THIS DAMN LONG to finally come and greet her with his presence. Opherla would have understood it if it had taken him, maybe, I dunno, a couple days to finally come and see her about what happened at South City, but of course, Opherla thought he was dead in the first place! So why the hell would he wait this long to give her answers!? Why did it take this long for him to finally show up and tell her he was okay!? One thing was for certain about his first statement... she wasn't in a predicament anymore, thanks to him.
"I gotta thank you for helping me finally get my technique off correctly by scaring the absolute shit out of me, Callion, but seriously, what the hell man! I thought you were dead! I thought Quash killed you! What the hell is going on, for real!? What happened in South City!?" Opherla yelled, demanding to know what happened in South City, and how Callion was alive in the first place.

Callion saw that Opherla was getting all the stronger and more impressive and her techniques she was showing whilst he remained quiet were proving all the more incredible with each passing moment. His eyes witnessed her Ki barrage, feeling the force of such energy being applied in combat, and her tenacity to keep on pushing to new heights. He was rather proud of the Beastfolk hybrid. Perhaps she and Tanya might make a good sparring partner one of these days? Afterall, the two girls could always use more friends in their own way. The male Saiyan at least had the common courteously to remain quiet just long enough to witness her attacks work for the meantime. He could see her determination, the focus in the wanting of landing such a technique just right, in a way that he as well wanted to strive and attain such a power in becoming all the stronger in his own right, and to see her go above and beyond, Callion naturally assumed that she had been working diligently nonstop, and there was no denying that Opherla had become more powerful since the events that had transpired back in South City…
That’s when he watched Opherla freak out the more Callion got closer to her, in the hopes to reunite with her.
…
And he got himself immediately beaten black and blue by the Beastfolk Hybrid.
“W-W-WHAT!? WAIT! OPHERLA! ITS ME!!”
Callion was getting himself absolutely pummelled by Opherla’s technique, being absolutely beaten with every inch of himself from today to next week by the panicking hybrid. From the slashes to the ki attacks, not even the pure-blooded Saiyan Callion could stand against being absolutely destroyed by the state that she was in. “OW! OOPH! W-WAIT! OW! OW! OWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!” The Saiyan cried out in getting beaten and taken down by Opherla, the pure-blooded Saiyan, who was now visibly beaten up and bruised all over. His clothes were torn, his hair was a mess, and he had a dazed expression on his face. He stumbled forward, trying to regain his balance, before finally falling face-first onto the ground. At this point, with his face on the floor, he was looking a bit dazed and confused, with little birds flying around his head in a classic anime fashion.
"Ow...ow...ow..." Callion groaned, holding his head as he stumbled around. "What the heck was that for?" he asked, looking up at Opherla with a mixture of confusion and annoyance, having now been covered in dust and debris, with his hair standing up in an anime-esque fashion. He had a dazed look on his face, with stars spinning around his head, as if he had just been hit by a cartoon mallet. "Ow... that really hurt..." Callion groaned, rubbing his head as he stumbled backwards. "I didn't expect you to be so strong... I'm impressed."
He tried to stand up straight, but his legs wobbled beneath him, and he fell to his knees, holding his stomach. "But seriously, Opherla... what was that all about?" he asked, still a little dazed. "I wasn't trying to attack you or anything. I just wanted to see if you were okay." He winced as he felt a sharp pain in his ribs. "Okay, maybe I shouldn't have snuck up on you like that... but I thought it would be funny." He tried to stand up again, but this time he fell backwards, landing on his backside with a thud. "Okay, I give up... you win. You're way stronger than me. Can we just talk now, like civilized people?" he asked, holding up his hands in surrender. He then let out a chuckle. "Man, I feel like I'm in an anime or something. Getting beaten up like this... it's kind of fun, in a weird way."
That’s when he heard Opherla started having a gow at him, screaming at he was being alive all this time. What did she mean by that? Wait, did she assume that the Saiyan died back at South City? Ooooh… That might explain a lot of things, to why she has been in such a state. Callion started to apologize, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you like that!" Callion protested, as he finally managed to get back onto his feet, jumping up with a worried look at the hybrid Saiyan. "Look, I didn’t die, OK!? Ayu gave me a Senzu bean when I was down and I was able to restore my body back to full health! Look, I am OK, see!? Good as new!" he added, trying to lighten the mood.
As he tried to lighten the mood, he also decided to take on a more serious note to the conversation between himself and her, "I'm sorry for making you worry like that, Opherla. I had no idea that you thought I was dead." Callion said sincerely, looking at Opherla with concern. "I should have told you sooner that I was okay, but I didn't know how to find you after you left South City, the entire event was so chaotic it took me this long to try and comprehend what was the aftermath of everything." He took a deep breath and continued, "I know I messed up by sneaking up on you like that, and I understand why you reacted the way you did. But please know that I never meant to hurt you, and I'm sorry for any pain or fear I caused you."
"But... I understand if you're still upset with me," Callion added, looking at Opherla with a more serious expression. "I shouldn't have snuck up on you like that, especially with everything that's been going on. I know it's been tough for you, and I should have been more considerate of that." He lowered his head, feeling a twinge of guilt in his chest. "I promise to make it up to you, Opherla. Whatever it takes." Callion raised his head again, determination in his eyes. "I want to be there for you, as a friend, and as a fellow warrior. Together, we can face anything that comes our way." He extended his hand towards Opherla, offering her a friendly gesture. "What do you say, Opherla? Can we put this behind us and move forward together?"

Opherla held her glare even after the comical moments of Callion had been played out, as she was still rather pissed off about him sneaking up on her like that... even so, he seemed to be in massive apology mode, as she rolled her eyes almost every time he apologized. And she knew he wasn't that damaged. The fact he jumped right back on his feet was proof of that, as Opherla soon took a deep breath and sighed.
As Callion went on, Opherla could understand why he might have not known how to get to her in the chaos of the moment. That still didn't give him a free bye just because he had meant it as a joke. It wasn't funny, Opherla thought he had been dead! But, seeing how he took her attack and how he was now, Opherla could relax a little more as Callion spoke to her.
He eventually got to the point of asking her if they could move on from this as he extended a hand of friendship to her. Opherla smiled at this point, and shook her head and laughed.
"You know, of all the strongest people I know, you got to be the most dramatic." Opherla remarked. "We weren't ever gonna stop being friends, Cal. That's not changed. Never. Though, I will admit, I owed you one after those cracked ribs you gave me in North City." Opherla quipped, going to a jovial tone of her own as she smiled brightly at Callion.
Callion extended his hand of friendship towards Opherla, as Opherla would take it in her hand...
Before she then started initiating some sort of best buddy friendship handshake, starting with a triple fist bump, another type of handshake, a quick thumbs up, and ended with a good old fashioned chest bump!
...Which ended with Opherla falling on her rear due to their size difference but hey, she just tried chest bumping a brick wall that was Callion, what can one expect?
"Hehe... sorry, tried to think up a friendship handshake between us on the fly after the first time we met. That was my result." Opherla giggled. "But then again, I didn't expect you to get swole like you've taken mega steroids either." Opherla laughed, looking at Callion's new body. "In any case, I'm glad you're not dead and... I'm happy you still thought about swinging in to check on me." Opherla said with a soft smile. "Trust me when I tell you... I've really been trying my best to figure out ways to get as strong as you, and others. Buying my own little space ship to travel to Planet Vegeta one day, saving up for a Gravitron... I mean, I've got a lot on my to-do list on things I can do on my end to improve myself." Opherla remarked sheepishly. "That technique I just did? That was one of them. I really need to diversify my abilities if I'm gonna be able to fight like you guys." Opherla admitted with a smile.
Opherla would fold her arms. "So I gotta ask, what did you do lately to suddenly get so big and bulky like this? I mean, not that I don't mind it compared to when we first met but I mean, damn you look like my dream bodybuild- I-I mean, *ahem*, you look... Very good for a non-dead person!" Opherla had to quickly catch herself, but immediately blushed and started sweating if Callion noticed the slip up.
'Damnit, girl, keep your damn hormones in check!' Opherla cursed herself for the sudden slip-up of admitting how good Callion looked.

Callion chuckled at Opherla's remark about him being the most dramatic of the strongest people she knew. "Well, what can I say? I like to make an entrance," he said with a grin. As Opherla took his hand and they began their friendship handshake, Callion followed along with enthusiasm. He had never been one for overly complicated handshakes, but he was happy to go along with whatever Opherla had in mind.
When Opherla fell on her rear after the chest bump, Callion reached down to help her up, still grinning. "Sorry about that, I forget how strong I am sometimes," he said, pulling her up to her feet. As Opherla talked about her own training and her plans to improve herself, Callion listened attentively. He was impressed with her dedication and drive, and he could see that she had a lot of potential. "That's great to hear, Oph," he said, using the nickname he had given her. "I know you're going to do great things if you keep working hard." At Opherla's question about his own transformation, Callion flexed his muscles a bit and chuckled. “You’d be surprised of the true strength of the Saiyan race. As I was being healed with a Senzu bean, my people experience what we call a ‘Zenkai Boost’ whenever we recover from the verge of death, we receive an increase to our power level everytime. People of that, the Saiyans grow stronger each moment we ever get ourselves beaten to a pulp or manage to survive a critical injury.”
Callion explained the truth of the situation; how the warrior race that was the Saiyans became stronger with the thankful genetic trait that was a Zenkai, and it certainly worked wonders for the male pure-blooded Saiyan. Did he look taller as well as looking like a fine piece of buffed meat? Apparently so. However, it was not just the Zenkai Boost that does wonders, but the training and dedication that he pushed himself in order to achieve such a prized body that he had on his person, and he had been preparing such harsh and diligent workout programmes on himself in order to be prepared for Liari’s arrival. He had to work hard, fight even harder, and train his mind, body and soul to the limit in order to be even remotely ready for what was to come should the Blue Majin herself ever return to the fold.
For now, he decided to lightly tease Opherla upon hearing her slip up with a toothy grin. Callion flexed his biceps, "Oh, you like what you see, huh?" he teased, giggling as he made his pecks dance and biceps tensed as he muscle bodied infront of her for a moment before laughing, "My, my, Oph, are you trying to make me blush? I did not know you were that kind of woman! Hahahahah!" He then cleared his throat and turned serious. "But in all honesty, Oph," he said, "looks aren't everything. It's what's inside that counts. And you've got a heart of gold. I know you'll go far, with or without the perfect body. So, I don't want you to think that you need to change yourself to be like us, Opherla. You're already strong in your own way, and that technique you just used was impressive. It's all about finding what works for you and improving on it," Callion said, placing a hand on Opherla's shoulder.
Callion knew that Opherla had a lot of potential and was determined to help her reach her goals. "I'm impressed with the progress you've made already, Ophie. That technique you just did was pretty impressive. Keep it up and you'll be a force to be reckoned with in no time." He gave Opherla a playful nudge with his elbow. "Now come on, let's grab some food and catch up. I hear there's a new restaurant that just opened up down the street. My treat."

Opherla only blushed further and turned away from Callion slightly in embarrassment, only to suddenly get caught looking again the minute his pecs started dancing and when he flexed his biceps! Good Lord, he was STUNNING! Opherla couldn't help but find herself subconsciously drooling over him!
"W-wooow I-I..." Opherla could only muster as she looked at Callion's body from his teasing but quickly snapped herself out of it, having fallen into Callion's tease trap hook, line, and sinker! "Oh, stop trying to be so sexy, damnit!" Opherla exclaimed with a massive blush upon her face from Callion's teasing of her, as she couldn't help but have her hormones crank into overdrive when she had seen him.
Callion switched his tone, however, and began to speak genuinely to Opherla, about how a person is defined by their character and not their looks, well, yeah, Opherla knew that. But what got her attention before hand was this "Zenkai boost" thing. Zenkai boost? What did that mean? Callion went into detail about it for her, how it was only achievable through a near-death experience. Well, that seemed counter-intuitive, but hey, whatever works for Saiyans, right? Opherla wondered if something like that would work on her. Oh well, something to try on a different day. For now, she had Callion before her and he seemed to have a good amount of time on his hands compared to the last time they met up, considering this wasn't just a show up and leave type deal like what had to be done before.
Opherla couldn't help but blush again as Callion showered her with good compliments and wishful thinking towards her future. Opherla didn't know what to say to Callion about all of this! He really had this much faith in her. Had he come to here a week earlier, she would have likely told him, 'Yeah that's your story,' but not in the here and now. Sure, Opherla still had her doubts about her own power, but Callion's words of encouragement seemed to make her flutter in her heart a bit as she looked at him with a genuine smile.
"I'm... flattered, really." Opherla would start off. "I'm flattered you think that I've got what it takes to be a great warrior, Callion. And I'm glad you think I don't have to change much either to be like you guys." Opherla added with a small sigh of relief. She was glad she didn't have to carry around muscle bulk like Athren or Callion did in order to get that strong.
But what really caught her off her feet was the fact that Callion, without directly saying it, was asking her out to eat! This was only the second time they had ever met, for goodness sakes!
...But Opherla didn't mind. She might have a blush on her face now, but instead of one of embarrassment, it was one of genuine good feelings towards Callion as she smiled after getting over the sudden shock of genuinely being asked out.
"I'd love to go for something to eat, Cal." Opherla would say, calling Callion by a nickname she had just thought up for him as well. "I agree, we have a lot of catching up to do, and I don't think I could think of a better time for us to do it." Opherla added as she would offer her hand in a lady-like manner to Callion. "Let's go, my sweet, since you're so eager to take me on this date~" Opherla would now tease Callion back in a similar manner that he had done to her only a few moments ago. Opherla didn't even care anymore about the teasing Callion had done to her beforehand, she enjoyed the time she spent with Callion, and she wasn't about to let a chance like this go to waste.

Callion couldn't help but grin widely at Opherla's acceptance of his invitation. He took her offered hand and brought it to his lips, placing a gentle kiss on her knuckles before standing up and offering his hand to help her up as well. The Saiyan couldn't help but smile at Opherla's enthusiastic response to his invitation. He was glad that she was willing to go out with him, even if it was just for a meal.
"My pleasure, my dear Opherla," Callion replied, still grinning. "I promise to make it a date you won't forget. Let's not waste any more time." he said with a grin, using the nickname she had given him in return. "I know just the place for us to go. It's a new restaurant that just opened up, and the food is out of this world. I think you'll love it." The Saiyan started on his walk with hopefully Opherla by his side, he looked to her with a smirk of his own, "I'm glad you're up for it, Oph." Callion replied, using the nickname she had given him. "I've been looking forward to spending more time with you and getting to know you better, without the senseless battles and lives on the line."
As they made their way through the city, Callion couldn't help but feel grateful for this opportunity. Opherla was a fascinating person, and he was looking forward to getting to know her better. He had a feeling that this date was going to be a memorable one. "So, Opherla," Callion began, breaking the comfortable silence that had settled between them. "What do you like to do in your free time? Besides training, I mean." He wanted to know more about her interests, her passions, and what made her tick. He had a feeling that there was much more to her than met the eye, and he was eager to uncover it all.
Callion took Opherla's hand with a smile and led her out of the training grounds, eager to show her the restaurant he had in mind. As they walked through the bustling city, Callion described the restaurant to Opherla in detail.
As they walked along the bustling streets of the city, Callion took Opherla to a restaurant that was well-known for its exquisite cuisine and luxurious ambiance. The restaurant was located on the top floor of a skyscraper, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline from its floor-to-ceiling windows. "It's called The Dragon's Den," he said, "and it's one of the most renowned restaurants in the World. The owner is a master chef who specializes in fusion cuisine, blending flavors and techniques from across the universe to create unique and unforgettable dishes."
They turned a corner and the restaurant came into view on the very skyscraper. It was a massive structure with a dragon statue perched on the roof, overlooking the entrance. As they approached, a team of servers dressed in elegant black uniforms greeted them and escorted them inside.
The interior was just as impressive as the exterior. The dining room was enormous, with high ceilings and walls adorned with intricate dragon-themed artwork. The tables were arranged in semi-private booths, each with its own screen displaying a virtual view of a scenic location from around the World.
Upon entering, they were greeted by a maître d' who led them to their reserved table. The table was elegantly set with fine silverware, crystal glasses, and a bouquet of fresh flowers as the centerpiece. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, with soft lighting and soothing music playing in the background. Callion led Opherla to their booth and they sat down, taking in the view of a distant planet's glittering cityscape. A server approached them and handed them each a menu, which was a holographic display with a wide range of options. "We have to try the dragonfire sushi rolls," Callion said, pointing to the item on the menu. "They're made with spicy dragon peppers from a continent in the Far West, and they pack quite a punch."
The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of dishes from different cuisines around the world. The chef was a renowned culinary expert, known for his innovative techniques and use of only the freshest ingredients. Callion recommended some of his other favourite dishes to Opherla, including the seared scallops with truffle sauce, the beef Wellington with foie gras, and the lobster thermidor. The waiter also suggested some fine wines to pair with the dishes, and Callion let Opherla choose which one she preferred.

As the two walked, Opherla couldn't help but have a blush present on her face. She had to admit, it was nice to see this gentleman side to Callion, as opposed to his rougher, more violent side he had to bring out when in nonstop battles to save the world they lived on. Opherla didn't get why so many people wanted to destroy or mess up this place, this place was an amazing place to live!
Callion would ask Opherla about her hobbies on their way to the new restaurant that had recently opened in West City, which made Opherla blush further, as she had only really one true hobby in her life other than training and it was a rather embarrassing one to admit. "Well, uh, uhm..." Opherla would blush as she soon brought out a cute little anime cat plushie and showed it to Callion. "You see this lil guy? I... well, I'm an avid collector of them. But not because I want them for myself, because I want to use them either as battle distractions for my enemies, or use them to give to someone so it might brighten their day, even for just a little bit." Opherla explained as she told Callion her, up until now, quite secretive hobby she did behind the scenes. "I-it's embarrassing, I know." Opherla admitted with a blush.
But Callion didn't seem to be turned away by it, still leading Opherla close by to the new restaurant, as Opherla was quite curious why it would be located atop a skyscraper, but she soon would have an understanding of why as she looked to see the city below them as her eyes sparkled. While she had flown over the city before, there was just nothing to compare the view she was seeing now as she looked over it from above. No wonder the restaurant was located where it was, it was a scenic choice. And Opherla was mesmerized by it so much that she understood why Callion wanted to eat here with her.
As they got their table after entering the restaurant, Opherla was just as excited to look at the menu as Callion was, as they both looked through their options after sitting at the elegantly designed Dragon's Den restaurant. "Hm... those might be good but I also see on here on this Dragon Dance Steak, it's marinated with a variety of herbs, spices, and sauces, with enough flavor and kick to make you feel like a dragon almost!" Opherla remarked. "What do you think, Cal? I'm willing to try anything with you!" Opherla smiled with a blush, enjoying this date already even though it had barely just begun! She couldn't help it... Spending time with Callion was invigorating, inspiring, so many emotions together at once, Opherla was just caught staring at Callion's eyes with a dreamy gaze, as she was enjoying every moment just sitting with Callion, enjoying each minute passing moment.

Callion chuckled softly as he saw the dreamy gaze in Opherla's eyes. The Saiyan couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed as Opherla caught him staring back at her dreamily. He quickly averted his gaze, looking down at the menu in front of him. He had to admit, he was enjoying himself just as much as she was. "Dragon Dance Steak, huh? That sounds like it'll pack a punch. I'm up for it," he said, grinning at her. "But let's also get some appetizers to share. How about the Firecracker Shrimp and the Golden Dragon Dumplings?"
As they waited for their food to arrive, Callion looked around the restaurant, taking in the intricate dragon-themed decor and the stunning view of the city below. It was definitely one of the most unique and elegant restaurants he had ever been to. If anything, Callion couldn't help but feel a little nervous. He had been on plenty of missions and battles, but this felt different. He wanted to make a good impression on Opherla, and he hoped that she was having a good time.
As they waited for their food to arrive, Callion and Opherla chatted about their lives and their past experiences. Callion shared stories of his childhood and his training as a warrior, and Opherla opened up about her own training and her love for collecting anime plushies. "I think it's great that you collect those plushies," Callion said with a grin. "It shows that you have a softer side, and that you care about bringing joy to others. That's a quality that not many warriors possess."
Their food arrived, and they dug in with gusto, savoring the flavors of the Dragon Dance Steak and the appetizers. As they ate, Callion couldn't help but steal glances at Opherla, admiring the way she savored each bite and the way her eyes sparkled in the light of the restaurant. For Callion, his meal was surprisingly small… Though for Opherla, it seems her plate was completely stacked up to the brim with food! Looks like someone clearly got the winning plate for this little outing to the resturaunt, Callion couldn’t help but marvel at such a sheer size of the food being presented. Deciding to not have him drool over the food, Callion decided to ask her about the progress in her training whilst she ate, assumingly of course.
"So, Opherla, tell me more about your training. How's that been going?" Callion asked, genuinely curious about her progress as a fighter. He knew she was skilled, but he always wanted to encourage her to improve even further. “A more important question would be, what made you want to become a warrior?"

"Ooh, good choices! I like it!" Opherla nodded at Callion's suggestions for what food to get to accompany the Dragon Dance Steak, as she was already watering at the prospects of what the food might taste like in her mind, as she was excited to give it a try and see just how good this restaurant was. She had heard from many people that the food was just as good as the view of the city but she would have to be her own judge of that.
Their plates of food arrived and Opherla couldn't help but notice how different their plates looked. While her's was larger, Callion's was smaller! She hadn't planned it that way, but, oh well, neither of them seemed to mind this one single bit as they began to dig in to the food. Opherla took her first bite and was mesmerized immediately by the intensive burst of flavor her mouth was currently experiencing! The food was absolutely amazing! It was incredible with every single bite she took! She had never tasted food like this before in her entire life! It was no wonder Callion had wanted her to come and dine at this place, the food was incredible!
The evening went on as the two of them peacefully dined together, starting up conversation with one another as their date went on. Opherla heard Callion's remarks to her hobby and was surprised he didn't find it humorous and burst out in laughter at it, and instead admitted that it was rather unique of Opherla to reveal to him and she couldn't help but blush from the encouraging words!
"Thanks, Cal." Opherla giggled as she heard his words about her hobby. "So, what about you? What else do you do other than train? I don't think you've ever told me much about what you do besides train, ya know. Surely you have some hobbies too?" Opherla asked, curious about what Callion did with his spare time as a hobby outside of training to become stronger as Earth's protector.
Callion would breach the subject about Opherla's training. Opherla would smile as she heard this from Callion. "My training is going along well! Ever since South City, I've wanted to do everything I can to get stronger ever since I finally got confidence back in myself to start training again. I hope to one day be just as strong as you, or even stronger if I can manage it." Opherla would say with a smile.
It wouldn't be much longer before the two of them finished their meal, but even so, Opherla didn't want the moment to end. The time she had spent here in these moments with Callion had been among the best moments of her entire life, and she didn't want moments like this to end. But, all moments had to end, Opherla supposed, as she soon blushed and looked at Callion with a genuine smile. "Callion... Thank you for this time we've spent together. I've enjoyed every moment we've spent together on this date... I hope that one day we might be able to have moments like this again." Opherla admitted with a deeper blush and smile.

Callion smiled warmly at Opherla's words and reached across the table to take her hand in his. "I'm glad you enjoyed it, Opherla. I had a great time too. And I definitely hope we can do this again sometime."
He paused for a moment before continuing, "As for hobbies, well, there's not much time for anything else when you're training to protect the Earth," he chuckled. "But believe it or not, I do enjoy reading when I can and learning about different cultures and histories. I also like to cook, but I don't get to do it as often as I'd like since I'm usually busy with training and Earth's protection duties. Not to mention I've been known to dabble in a bit of music from time to time."
Callion smiled at Opherla's words, feeling his heart swell with warmth at her sincere expression of gratitude. "Seriously though, I'm glad you enjoyed it, Opherla. I'm glad we were able to spend this time together and get to know each other better," he replied, his voice soft and gentle. "I had a great time too. And of course, I'd love to do this again sometime. Maybe we can try out some other places and see what else the city has to offer."
Callion said, looking deeply into her eyes. "I would love nothing more than to have more moments like this with you in the future." He gave her hand a gentle squeeze and leaned in closer to her. "But for now, let's enjoy this moment together and take in the beautiful view," he said, gesturing to the city skyline.
As they sat there, hand in hand, watching the twinkling lights of the city below, Callion couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over him. He knew that there was something special about Opherla, something that he couldn't quite put his finger on yet, but he was excited to explore that further.
For now, though, he was content to just be with her, enjoying the moment and the company of a woman who had quickly become someone very special to him. Callion's gaze lingered on Opherla's face for a moment longer before he reluctantly let go of her hand and stood up from the table. "Shall we go for a walk and enjoy the view before we head back?" he suggested, gesturing towards the balcony where they had first entered the restaurant. Callion turned to Opherla and spoke softly, "Opherla, I just want you to know that I really value our friendship. And, if you ever need anything, anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask me."
"Whether it's help with training, advice on anything, or even just someone to talk to, I'm here for you," Callion continued, his voice filled with sincerity. "I know we haven't known each other for very long, but I feel like we have a strong connection. And I want to make sure that you feel comfortable coming to me if you ever need anything."
He took a step closer to Opherla and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "I also want to make sure that you know that I care about you. You're an amazing person, Opherla, and I feel lucky to have you in my life. So please don't ever hesitate to reach out to me, okay?" Callion gave Opherla's shoulder a reassuring squeeze before stepping back and offering her a warm smile. "Now, let's go enjoy this view before we have to head back to reality," he said, gesturing towards the balcony once more. With that, he led the way out of the restaurant and onto the balcony, where they stood side by side, taking in the breathtaking view of the city below.

Opherla could only blush at Callion's words as the two of them looked over the view of the city down below, as Opherla's mind was racing a bit from everything she had just experienced in the past few moments. She couldn't describe it, really. Was this love she was feeling? Maybe. Was it a feeling like she couldn't live without Callion? She wasn't sure. Was it a memory to cherish forever? Absolutely. And Opherla was going to cherish this moment for the rest of her entire life.
The two of them enjoyed the view over the city, neither one of them sharing a singular word as the moment was words enough for the two of them. They had shared a moment so close that could pretty much be considered a proper first date, even if it was Callion just treating Opherla to a nice meal at a nice restaurant with his own money. Regardless of what it was or what both of them felt in the moment... It was a moment that was hard to ever forget for either one of them.
The two of them soon exited the restaurant and headed out of the skyscraper, as Opherla looked at Callion one more time for the night.
"Callion. Thank you for tonight. I don't know if I'll ever forget the experience we had tonight. I promise you: I'll get stronger than I've ever been, so we can share more moments like this in a future where Earth is safe from all threats." Opherla said with a newfound determination unlike she ever had before. "I have to go and do some quick training reps before the night's over so... I'll see you around, alright?" Opherla asked Callion with a smile and wink as she soon took to the sky and waved a farewell to Callion, before she flew off, aiming to get in some quick training in before the night was done. She had enjoyed tonight for sure, every moment of it.
And it only gave her more drive. More desire. More determination to train and become the strongest she could be, so she could protect this planet that she loved so dearly. And so she could share more meaningful and close moments with Callion like what she had with him tonight.
